This page explains the information involved when you use SnapTik. The exact server-log and retention settings may also depend on the production hosting environment.
Links submitted for processing
When you submit a TikTok URL, the server sends that URL to the configured processing service so it can request a result. Returned media URLs are used to display available video, audio, or image options and to build download links through the configured delivery service. Do not place passwords, tokens, or other secrets in the form.
Browser storage and clipboard access
The theme switcher stores only the selected light or dark preference in localStorage. If you use the Paste button, the browser asks for clipboard access when required and places the text it returns into the URL field. Clipboard content is not requested until you use that control.
Technical logs
The hosting provider or web server may keep standard technical logs, such as an IP address, browser user agent, request time, requested path, response status, and error details. These logs may be needed for security, abuse prevention, reliability, and troubleshooting. Retention is determined by the production server configuration.
Advertising
SnapTik displays advertising to support the website. Advertising providers may use cookies, local identifiers, or similar technologies under their own privacy policies. Browser privacy controls and applicable consent tools can be used to manage those technologies where available.
Third-party services
TikTok, the configured parser, the media delivery service, the hosting provider, and advertising providers operate independently. Information sent to them is governed by their respective policies and technical settings. Avoid submitting private or restricted links.
Your choices
You may avoid using the form, clear the theme preference from browser storage, decline clipboard permission, adjust browser cookie controls, or stop using the site. Download only material you own or are allowed to use.
Policy updates
